WORLD GLAUCOMA WEEK (8 – 14 March 2015)

During the year 2015, the World Glaucoma Week was marked throughout the entire country by a number of events in the form of Open Doors of clinics and health centres where any citizen who wanted to have the intraocular pressure checked, was enabled to have it done, without a referral or health insurance cards. The action also included media (newspapers and TV) coverage in which the significance of early glaucoma detection was emphasised and special importance was attached to periodic eye examinations for those categories of citizens who have glaucoma risk factors.

A big press conference was held in the Clinical Centre of Vojvodina and doc. Dr. Nikola Babić was a guest in the morning program of the Novi Sad television.
